What's on my iPad?

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve, and have an amazing 2014 (wow it feels so weird writing that!)

My family treated me to an iPad mini this Christmas and although I've only had it less than a week, I already absolutely love it! It's been amazing for doing blogging bits and pieces, and I'm starting to prefer using my iPad rather than my laptop when I'm blogging.

Today I thought I'd show you what I have on my iPad, and let you know which I apps I'm loving my most, in particular apps I've been using to help with blogging. Lots of these apps you can download on android phones as well as apple products so hopefully this will help quite a few of you choose your blogging apps.

This is my lock screen! I sourced my background from tumblr and I think it's stunning yet very simple.

Now we have all the basic apple apps - iTunes, App Store, messages, pictures etc. I tend to only use Safari and the App Store on this screen as I've downloaded other apps with a similar function that I prefer.

Then we have the eight folders organising the apps I use the most. I have "Social", "Blogging", "Favourite Blogs", "Lifestyle", "Photography", "Organisation", "Shopping" and "Games".

Up first there's my "Social Folder", which contains the usual social networking apps: Twitter, Facebook, Skype, Pinterest, Tumblr, YouTube, We Heart It and Spotify. These have to be my most used apps, in particular Twitter and Pinterest, and in almost every case with these apps, I actually prefer the app to the actual site.

Then there's the "Blogging" folder. I have the Blogger app, but I don't tend to use it as I find it too simple to be able to produce a well structured blog post with. I use Bloglovin to read some of the blogs I follow, and the Yahoo Mail app is the app I use to read and compose emails from my blogging email. I use Google+ to read all the posts from the lovely bloggers I have in my circles and I use the Blogsy app to write and edit my posts, as I see it as a much better alternative to the Blogger app. Then, I just have two links - one to my blog and one to the Blogger web page, which I use to reply to comments and all those bits and pieces.

Next, I have a folder full of of links to my current favourite blogs. There's my two favourite big blogs - Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter, and my current favourite smaller (but equally as amazing) blogs - Lauryn's Notebook, Stella Etoile, Lovely Jubbly and Emmi Hearts.

Now there's the Lifestyle folder which contains all those little random apps. There's Polyvore (which I use to create Wishlist posts), Yahoo Weather (which has to be the best weather app ever), BBC iPlayer, Rightmove, and Goodreads (the best app/site if you're a book lover; it's full of reviews from fellow readers and lots of fab things like that).

This is my photography folder, which contains the apps I sometimes use for editing photos for my blog, although i normally use picmonkey. My favourite apps in this folder have to be Pic Collage (as you can probably tell by the name, it's an fab app for creating collages. I also love the Photo Editor app which is a great alternative to pic monkey.

Next there's the organisation folder. It's quite a boring folder - I have penultimate and my sketch pad which I use for noting things down, and abcnotes which I use for noting post ideas.

This is the rather boring Shopping folder, which just contains the apps for eBay, Etsy and Topshop.

Finally, I have the Games folder. Hay Day has to be my most favourite game ever - I'm slowly becoming addicted. Jetpack Joyride, Where's my Water and Fruit Ninja are three of my other favourites. They're all those games you can never stop playing once you've started.

So that's all that's on my iPad!

Have you got any apps you recommend? And do you use any good apps for blogging-related activities?

Lots of Love
Chloe xxx
