Maybelline Forever Strong Nail ~ Mint For Life

At the weekend I took a little trip into town to buy a few bits and bobs and I may have 'accidently' ended up in Superdrug! Of course it would have been really rude of me to leave without buying anything so I picked up the Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish in the shade Mint For Life.

I absolutely love the colour mint and I've been wanting a good mint nail polish for a while so when i spotted this on the Maybelline stand i couldn't not buy it!

The colour is very similar to the Essie Mint Candy Apple polish but it's almost half the price!

I found this polish amazing! You only need two coats to get a perfect colour - although to be completely honest you could get away with using only one coat if you were in a rush! The polish is really easy to apply and the colour is beautiful! It lasts for around 7 days with a good top coat, just like Maybelline claims it does, or around 3/4 without a top coat.

The only issue I've had with this polish is that no matter how much you do to prevent it, it bubbles. However i did find this reasonably unnoticeable when it all comes down to it!

I'll rate this product 4* and i'll definitely be using it again!

Have you used this polish before? What did you think?

P.S: I haven't been able to take any photos as my camera has been playing up so i hope the ones i found online are okay!

June Favourites!

I'm a bit late in writing this post because I had lots on last week, as it was my last week of year 10! It was a fab week but really emotional at the same time! But anyway, on with my June favourites...

1 ~ Figs and Rouge 'Coco Rose' tinted lip balm

I did a whole review of this lip balm here but I received this amazing lip balm in my June Glossy box and I love love love it! I use this as I would a normal lip gloss because it looks the same, but it also does amazing things for your lips.

2 ~ Soap and Glory Mist You Madly

I've been using this body spray for about a month and it's my favourite spray ever! I keep one bottle in my school bag (it's great for on the go, and it lasts forever) and one at home, and i'm always using it! It smells absolutely stunning!

3 ~ Nivea Raspberry Rose Lip Balm

This is the lip balm I use at night and I love it! It leaves my lips so soft and smooth, and I always find it makes it easier to put lip products on after I've used it.

4 ~ Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I am addicted to this pressed powder! It is absolutely incredible, especially in the summer when my face gets shiny so quickly. It lasts a long time and it's so quick and easy to apply.

5 ~ Rimmel London 100% Waterproof Mascara

I first brought this mascara a few years ago but for some reason (and I can't remember why) I didn't buy another. Then I saw it in Superdrug a few weeks ago and I decided to buy it, to give it a try again and I absolutely love it! It adds volume to my lashes and it's super buildable! I've also found that it's suitable for both day and night - it's now the only mascara I ever use!

6 ~ Boots Natural Collection Clear Nail Varnish

As I think I mentioned a few posts back, i'm not aloud to wear nail varnish at school so I cheat and wear clear polish, and this is by far my most favourite polish! It's £1.89 so super affordable and I find that because you only need one coat as it's clear, one bottle lasts ages.

7 ~ Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation

Yes, this is my third Rimmel product on my June favourites - I love the brand ok? This foundation has great coverage that easily blends into my own skin tone. It doesn't add too much shine and it's not sticky at all.

8 ~ Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Cleansing & Toning Lotion

This product is fantastic! It smells lovely and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. It doesn't dry your skin out and it reduces spot redness and size. Plus, it's not too expensive!

9 ~ Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturiser

I love this product! I've tried so many different acne products that have had disappointing results but this moisturiser has impressed me so much! It keeps my skin soft and smooth and it seems to be helping to clear my skin.

Soap and Glory Makeup Wishlist

Soap and Glory Makeup Wishlist

Soap and Glory has to be one of my most favourite beauty brands! I absolutely love their skin products they smell delicious and they leave my skin feeling so lovely.

I've never used any of their makeup products, mainly because i can only buy them from the boots in my local shopping centre and i can never be bothered to make the effort to actually go into town, when there's perfectly good smaller shops 5 minuets away.

But recently i went on the Soap and Glory website and i had a look at the make-up products they do! Here's my 'Soap and Glory makeup wishlist'. I have picked out one face product, one lip product and one eye product.

Kick Ass Concealer

This looks like such an amazing product! It's a sort of three in one product - containing 3 different skin products - a concealer for under your eyes, a concealer for your complexion and a transparent setting powder. I'd buy it in the shade 'Light'.

RRP: £10.00

Lid Stuff - Flawless Finish Eyeshadow

I want this eyeshadow palette so much! The shades are stunning! Soap and Glory say it's a "fabulous flawless-finish, super colour 8 hour wear eyeshadow (that won't flake, won't fade and won't crease)".

I love the look of the "What's nude" colour set (shown up there^) but to be honest the other shades "Off the Wall Flowers" (a collection of purple/blue colours) and "Smokey Dokey" (dark smokey eye colours) are stunning too.

RRP: £10.00

Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick

I've seen so many bloggers and youtubers raving about this lip gloss! Soap and Glory say "This super-light, ultra-hydrating lip crayon glides effortlessly onto lips, leaving behind an umissably pretty sweep of creamy, moisture-rich colour & shine."

There's five stunning shades - plum jam, fuchsia ristic, nudist, bashful and raplumzel and i really would love to try all of them!

RRP: £8.00
