Nails | Jazz Up Your Nails For January

What's a better way to rid your life of the January blues than by jazzing up your nails? Some may say that a glitter manicure is best suited to the festive months but I just couldn't deny myself injecting a little sparkle into my everyday life post-festive season.

To achieve this solid glitter look I applied three coats of polish on top of one of my base coats (I can't for the life of me remember which brand it was but I find they all work splendidly with this polish). I tend to steer clear of using a top coat of sorts when using this polish in order to achieve a gorgeous textured shimmer look.

On the nails how did they fair? Very well actually. My nails were chip-free for just under two weeks, and lasted a third with touch ups every other day. Perfect manicure material.

    1. Thank you! It's taken ages to get them like this. I've found wearing nail varnish all of the time has helped to make them much stronger x
