Blogmas Day 15: Beauty Haul

I went down to London yesterday with my friends and I picked up quite a few beauty bits and bobs from Boots, Lush and Topshop, that I'm going to share with you today. Lots of these pieces were featured in my "Winter Beauty Wishlist" post so I'm so so excited to be able to try them all out.

Barry M Nail Paint "Pink Silver Glitter"
I have seen quite a few bloggers post about this little beauty over the last few weeks and it's such a pretty colour so I've picked it up to wear over the christmassy period.

Lush "Snow Fairy" Shower Gel
Snow Fairy is one of my favourite scents ever and I really wish the snow fairy products were avaliable all year round! It smells amazing and the scent lasts so long. And it's pink, so what more can you want?

Lush "Santa Baby" Lip Tint
I've wanted this lip tint for so long, so I'm so happy to have it. It's a stunning red colour that is perfect for winter, and I can't wait to try it out.

Topshop Brows Pencil
Topshop Makeup is one of my favourite makeup collections ever so I'm so excited to try this out. I've been looking for a new brow pencil for a while and I've read lots of great reviews about this pencil so I'm expecting good things.

Blogmas Day 14: Christmassy Party Outfit Ideas

Apologies for this post being one day late! I was in London all day yesterday (my train was at 8:50am and I got back around 7:30pm) and I forgot to schedule a post... silly me! So I'm just going to be posting both Blogmas Day 14 and Blogmas Day 15 today instead. Let's get cracking with Day 14...

Christmas is a time where I think it's always nice to dress up a little bit. It's a great excuse to go on a little shopping spree and treat yourself to a new outfit. I thought today I'd share with you an outfit idea for a christmassy or new year party...

Cami ~ Topshop
Shorts ~ Miss Selfridge
Blazer ~ Topshop
Shoes ~ Topshop
Nails ~ Topshop "Razzmatazz"

I think this outfit is perfect for festive parties. It's dressy yet quite casual at the same time, and it's the type of outfit you'd be comfortable in all evening. The best thing about this outfit is that all of the items that are part of it could easily be worn seperately, so it's not one of those outfits you wear once and then never again.

What are you planning on wearing for all the festive parties this year?

Blogmas Day 13: Review: Lush "Celestial" Moisturiser

It is Day 13 of Blogmas, at week two of my December "Review Fridays"!
Today I'm going to be reviewing the fabulous Lush Celestial Moisturiser which is my current favourite moisturiser. I was given a sample of this beauty from my local Lush store in September, and I fell in love with it after the first use. It's the perfect winter moisturiser and I honestly couldn't recommend it more.

This moisturiser is designed especially for sensitive skin, and although I can't give a review on how good that aspect of this product is, because I don't have very sensitive skin, I can say that it is very mild so I can imagine it would be a good moisturiser for sensitive skin

I find Celestial to be really light on my skin, yet it's so moisturising it's amazing. It's not too oily and I find it works as a good base for my makeup. One of the best aspects of this product is how long lasting it is. I find that if i apply it at 7am, it's still keeping my skin lovely and moisturised when i go to bed. It absorbs instantly into my skin but it doesn't lie on the skin, which is such a positive aspect.

Plus, it smells incredible; it's the perfect fresh vanilla scent.

Celestial costs £11.95 for a 45g pot, and although this is quite a bit more expensive than I would usually spend on a moisturiser, it's completely worth it. I've also found that a single pot lasts a good few months, so overall it's a bit of a bargain.

I feel like this review has been 100% positive but to be completely honest I have no bad words to say about this product. It's easily the best moisturiser I've ever tried, and I can't see myself changing moisturiser anytime soon.

Have you tried Celestial? What did you think?

Blogmas Day 12: My Favourite Festive Films

You can't have christmas without a few festive films can you?
There are so so so many to choose from, and they're the type of films you can watch over and over and never get bored.

Today I thought I'd share two of my favourite christmassy films with you lovely lot. I tend to prefer festive films with a bit of romance, because you can't be a bit of love at christmas can you?
Love Actually - my other fav holiday movie
Up first we have the 136 minutes of magic that is Love Actually. I honestly don't think I can describe how much I love this film. It has to be one of my most favourite films of all time, not just my favourite festive movie. If you're not familiar with the film, it follows 10 seperate stories in the run up to christmas, and it has so many incredible actors in it, including Hugh Grant, Keira Knightly, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson and Rowan Atkinson. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this film. It's absolutely hilarious and it's just the perfect chritmassy film. I'll probably end up watching Love Actually at least ten times over the festive period.

Then there's the Holiday which is the perfect festive rom-com. It follows two women (one from the UK, one from the US) who swap homes for the holiday "only to find that a change of address can change their lives". All four of the main actors in this wonderful film are absolutely amazing, and for me it's their incredible portrayals of the characters that really make the film as fantastic as it is (wow I sound like a posh film reviewer don't I). The Holiday is one of those films that I can't not watch during the holiday season - it's such a feel good christmassy film.

Have you seen either of these films? What did you think?
Do you have any favourite lovey dovey christmassy films?

Lots of Love

Blogmas Day 11: My Winter Beauty Wishlist

I'm popping down to London on Saturday with my two best friends for a christmassy shopping session and I'm hoping to pick up a few (or lots) of the beauty products I've had my eye on for a while. I thought I'd share some of these items with you today as a little bit of a 'winter beauty wishlist...

1 ~ Lush "Santa Baby" Lip Tint
£5.50
I've had my eye on this little beauty ever since the Lush Christmas range graced our stores and I'm so so desperate to get it. The colour is absolutely stunning - it's such a gorgeous christmassy red and i just think it will be perfect for all the festivities in the coming weeks. I think i might just need to take a little trip to my all time favourite lush store, in Covent Garden to treat myself to it.

2 ~ Lush "Luxury Lush Pud"
£3.40
I think I've mentioned this bath bomb on here before but if i haven't then this is my all time favourite Lush festive bath bomb. It's just so lovely and christmassy and wonderful, and i just love it so much! I'm going to treat myself to one (or possibly two) of these little beauties because... why not?

3 ~ Barry M Glitter Nail Paint "Pink Silver"
£2.99
This nail polish seems to be a bit of a favourite in the blogging world at the moment, as i have seen a fair few bloggers mentioning it in various christmassy posts. It looks so so pretty and perfect for christmas! I haven't actually got any sparkly polishes at the moment so i'm excited to give this a try.

4 ~ Topshop Brow Pencil "Brown"
£6.00
Finally, we have the Topshop Brow Pencil. Now, i've been looking for a good brow pencil for a while now and I'm yet to find one i really really like, but I've heard some quite positive reviews of this product so I think I might pick it up and give it a go. If you've tried this product can you let me know what you thought?

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
Or can you reccomend any other products you think i should try out?

Lots of Love
