I saw this tag done by the lovely Eve (her blog is great - go check it out) and i absolutely love reading so i thought it would be fun to give it a go! So here are all my answers ~

Audio books or book in hand?
Definitely book in hand! In my opinion, there's no other way to enjoy a book! I used to listen to audio books at night when i was little (i was obsessed with the famous five and the secret seven - the children's classics) but as i've got older i've got into reading more. I find i can get into the story and understand the characters better if i'm reading it myself.

Soft or hard cover?
Soft! I know that they get worn quicker but i just think that shows it's an amazing book! I normally read sitting in an armchair i have in my living room and i find it's easier to get comfy when it's a soft book than a hardback.

Fiction or non-fiction?
Fiction! The only non-fiction books i tend to actually enjoy are autobiography's. To be honest I'd much more enjoy learning about something by watching it on tv than i would reading about it.

Fantasy World or Real-life Issues?
Now that's a tough one! I love fantasy world books like Harry Potter, but i love books that cover real-life issues that i can relate to so i actually don't think i can choose.

Harry Potter or Twilight?
HARRY POTTER HARRY POTTER HARRY POTTER! It has to be my most favourite book series ever ever ever! I literally cry when i read all the books (even now when i've read them so many times). I started to read twilight a while back but to be completely honest i got so bored i just stopped!

Kindle, iPad or other?
Neither! I can't stand reading on any of the electronic things they have now. In my opinion, the only way to read is with an actual book.

Borrow or buy?
Buy. I do borrow lots of books from the library (and sometimes forget to take them back for ages oops) but thats because i like to 'try before i buy' and read the book so i can decide if i will actually read it again, if i buy it. But i absolutely love bookshops, especially waterstones! I love the smell of new books (yes i'm one of those sad people who pick up books in bookshops just to smell them) and i love being able to actually hold the book in your hand and read the back of the book, before you choose to buy it.

Book store or buy online?
Book store! I tend to only buy online if i'm pre-ordering a book, or if i'm buying a book i've seen in a book store for a bit cheaper than it was in the shop.

Standalone or series?
Series! I get so emotionally attached to characters that i just want to keep reading when the book has finished, so i love reading a series knowing that the minuet i finish this book i have the next one to enjoy! And i spend most of the time after i finish a standalone book upset that i had to part with the characters and the story.

Monster Read or short and sweet?
Monster Read! They contain the most detail which is something i love about books.

Starry eyed romance or full of action?
Starry eyed romance probably. Don't get me wrong, i love action books, and some of my favourite books have a lot of action in them, but my overall favourite genre is romance.

Curl up in your snuggie or lay in the sun?
Curl up in your snuggie. I love reading curled up in a chair, especially at night when the house is silent. I took an amazing book (The Midwife's Confession by Diane Chamberlain) on Holiday with me last summer when i went to Greece for me to read on the beach but i really struggled to get into it because of all the noise and distractions, so i ended up just reading it on the plane on the way back instead.

Hot Chocolate or latte?
Hot Chocolate!

Read the review or decide for yourself?
Read the review! I use goodreads (an amazing site for book recommendations and reviews - pretty much every book out there is on this site and all the reviews are done by readers*) and i use it to look at new books to read - by looking at my recommended books and then reading the reviews of the books. It helps me find great books to read, because all the reviews are done by readers so i can see what people with the same taste in books as i have, thought of the book. I prefer finding out if i'm going to like a book or not before i start reading it because i don't want to waste my time reading it, if it isn't my cup of tea.
